Top 10: Week 2 Class 5A poll

EDGYTIM.com Week 2 Class 5A Top 10 poll

1. Nazareth Academy (1-0) (1)- The young offense put up 56 points in Week 1. I guess that offense will be Okay.

2. Peoria (1-0) (2)- Love the 70 points scored...gotta work on the 63 points allowed however.

3. Washington (1-0) (3)- The Panthers just roll in a win over U High.

4. Sterling (1-0) (5)- Big win over Sycamore and show a potent passing game.

5. Marian Central Catholic (1-0) (6)- The Hurricanes had zero issues with Chicago Bowen.

6. Metamora (1-0) (7)- The Redbirds get a Week 1 win over Pontiac 33-10.

7. Champaign Central (1-0) (NR)- Admittedly blew it on the Maroons in the preseason Top 10. Explosive and athletic team again in 2016.

8. Sycamore(0-1) (4)- Touch loss to Sterling but I fully expect a bounce back from the Spartans.

9. Triad (1-0) (NR) Always in the hunt in the Mississippi Valley conference.

10. Rich Central (1-0) (NR)- HUGE offensive line and a ton of skills as well here for then Olympians.
