EDGYTIM.com Week 2 Class 6A Top 10 poll

1. Sacred Heart Griffin (1-0) (2)- Just another day at the coal mines for the Cyclones in routing Jacksonville.

2. Prairie Ridge (1-0) (3)- Yes the Wolves can and will throw the football when required.

3. Crete-Monee (1-0) (4)- Huge test this week at Brother Rice. I wouldn't be shocked to see the Warriors hang with top ranked Rice this week.

4. Montini (0-1) (1)- Not stunned by the Week 1 loss to Maine South but stunned at just how badly the Broncos lost.

5. Cary-Grove (1-0) (4)- Lost the Week 1 battle against PR but I have a feeling CG will just get better from here on out.

6. Lemont (1-0) (6)- Nice Week 1 win over Richards and another touch road test this week against Belleville East at Milliken.

7. Auburn (1-0) (7)- I just get the feeling that the Knight will roll in the NIC-10 this season..

8. St. Laurence (1-0) (9)- Speedy and dangerous team here.

9. DeKalb (1-0) (NR)- QB Derek Kyler and WR Cole Tucker are a dangerous combo.

10. Richards (0-1) (10)- Close call loss to Lemont in Week 1 and Philips is up next.
