EDGYTIM.com Week 2 Class 8A Top 10 poll

1. Loyola Academy (1-0) (1)-Next up is Maine South for Loyola. .

2. Glenbard West (1-0) (2)- The Hitters running game leads the way.

3. Homewood-Flossmoor (1-0) (3)- Things will get a bit more interesting in Week 3 trust me.

4. Glenbard North (1-0) (4)- Huge early DVC showdown with WV this Friday..

5. Lincoln-Way East (1-0) (5)- Yet another long road trip this week for the Griffins.

6. Palatine (1-0) (6)- The Pirates have plenty of offense and a big play defense in 2016.

7. Brother Rice (1-0) (7)- Lots of backfield and skills speed on offense and the defense also has nice speed.

8. Waubonsie Valley (1-0) (10)- Can the Warriors offense kick things into a higher gear this week?

9. Neuqua Valley (1-0) (NR)- Looks like the Wildcats have two quarterbacks to choose from this season.

10. Maine South (1-0) (NR)- QB Nick Leongas brings a true dual threat to the Hawks offense, beware of this team.
