Watch List: ATH TJ Ivy

Chicago (Ill.) Marist junior athlete prospect TJ Ivy (6-foot-5, 220 pounds) is a big target in the Redhawks offense this season. Ivy has the tools to become a BCS level name and get to know TJ Ivy here.

"We had a good game last week and got the win (over Simeon 24-10)," Ivy said. "We bounced back well after that first loss (to Brother Rice)."

Ivy, who is playing wide receiver this season for the Redhawks has begun to draw recruiting contact and interest.

"I just got invited to Illinois for the game on Saturday against North Carolina. I also have talked to Iowa State. Iowa just sent me mail yesterday. A few other schools have requested my transcripts. I camped this past summer at Central Michigan and the Notre Dame Irish Invasion. I talk to Central Michigan just about more than any other schools lately."

Ivy is also hoping to get out to see a few college games as soon as this coming weekend.

"I might go to Illinois this Saturday. I'm also going to try to make it out to see one of the Iowa State games something this season."

Ivy has remained focused on his junior season and talked about what he feels are a few strengths in his game this season.

"I wanted to focus hard this season on running good routes. I worked on that a lot this summer and just worked on improving my overall receiver skills. I've been also trying to use my size to my advantage better when it comes to catches and getting yards after the catch."

Does Ivy have a favorite college or NFL level player?

"Mine is definitely Laquon Treadwell. He was an absolute beast in college at Ole Miss and he's most likely going to do damage on Sunday's."
