Watch List: DE Jordan Williams

Champaign (Ill.) Centennial senior defensive end recruit Jordan Williams (6-foot-4, 250 pounds) has been very impressive this summer at various college camps. Williams, who has a handful of offers this summer talks recruiting and more here.

"Recruiting has been going pretty well," Williams said. "I have offers so far from Ball State and North Dakota and it seems like more schools are starting to look into me this summer."

Williams is coming off an impressive NIU Big Dawg camp performance last Saturday.

"I thought I did alright at the NIU camp. It was a long day but I like the fact that the coaches really worked hard with us and I learned a lot of new drill and some technique I can work on for next season. I talked to the NIU coaches after the camp and they told me that they had a few spots left in this class and one spot open at defensive end. They said they would decide if they would offer me sometime soon."

Williams, who is planning to camp at Illinois State this weekend talked about his takeaway from his recent camp travels.

"I liked how each coach brings something different to each camp. Some have different drills and teach things differently and I was able to learn a lot from the coaches. I also liked just getting a chance to go against some really good competition. I know that I'm becoming a better player by going to the college camps."

Williams is also focused on his team camp this summer.

"We also have our team camp this month and it's been going well. We have a lot of kids back this year and I'm looking at playing on both sides of the football at tight end and defensive end."
