Watch List: K/P Caleb Griffin

Danville (IL) junior kicker prospect Caleb Griffin (6-foot-3, 185 pounds) is a non stop four sport athlete who also possesses one of the state's top legs in the Class of 2018. Get to know this latest Name to Watch in the Class of 2018 here.

"I play four sports (football/soccer/baseball/basketball) at my school including both football and soccer during the fall," Griffin said. "I've had a few cases of having to travel from one game to another but overall it seems to work out. My Dad is the soccer coach so my uncle usually ends up driving me from one game to the next. "

Griffin filled us in on his latest recruiting news.

"I would say that Louisville is the most interested school so far. They made an in school visit a few weeks ago and they said they would have a better idea if they will offer a kicker in the 2018 class or not after this signing day. I've also been in touch with Minnesota, Illinois, Vanderbilt, NIU and also Indiana. I've been to Illinois a few times for games and I've also visited Indiana as well. NIU made an in school visit not too long ago."

Griffin, who is also a strong student in the class room talked about his game and what he's working on to improve this winter.

"I feel comfortable kicking field goal from 54 yards in and I average just under 40 yards per punt this past season. The winter can be harder because you just don't have very many places to get kicking in. I use the field house at school and I'm working to just clean up my overall technique and I'm also trying to just be more repetitive and consistent in my approach."
