Watch List: OT Will Christopher

Virden (IL) North Mac junior offensive tackle prospect Will Christopher (6-foot-5, 270 pounds) was impressive in his 2016 junior year for the Panthers and head coach Shane Owsley. Get to know this latest Class of 2018 name to watch here.

"I've been just really focused on the weight room and lifting," Christopher said. "One of my goals this off-season to to get bigger and add more strength."

Christopher filled us in on his latest recruiting news this winter.

"I've been drawing interest from several college coaches so far. I've heard from Ball State, Indiana, Kent State, Miami of Ohio, SIU, Illinois, Iowa State, Marshall, Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan. I was able to make game day visits last season to SIU, Illinois, Indiana, Ball State and Illinois State. I honestly don't have a dream school. I just earn to get a chance to play college football at the highest level I can."

Christopher discussed what he feels are his strengths on the field and what he's working on this winter.

"I'm game is pretty strong when it comes to my down blocks and reach blocks. I'm also able to get off the snap and pull pretty quickly. I'm working on adding more strength along with improving my speed and hands."

Does Christopher have a college major in mind?

"I'm looking at becoming an orthopedic surgeon. I'm looking at majoring in Pre-Med in college then hopefully moving onto medical school."
