Watch List: QB Tyler Selvig
Elk Grove (IL) junior quarterback prospect Tyler Selvig (6-foot-2, 175 pounds) has been playing well on the 7on7 circuit this winter and is a definite name to watch in the Class of 2018. Get to know Tyler Selvig here,
"I'm back in baseball and getting ready for my season," Selvig said. "I'm also staying on top of my grades along with my still throwing and training for football."
Selvig filled us in on his latest football recruiting news.
"I have added some roster spot offers from a handful of D3 schools like St. Norbert, Lake Forest Academy plus a few other schools. I've also been in touch with SIU, Murray State plus I also started getting mail from Arizona State. I was able to visit a few local colleges like Olivet Nazarene and St. Francis in Joliet. I'm also planning to visit Illinois this Friday."
Selvig discussed what he feels are his strengths on the field and more.
"I can throw the football on the run pretty well. I also throw a good deep ball and can make all the throws that the coaches want to see me throw. I've been working hard on improving my feet and my overall footwork this winter. I'm also working on just getting a better feel in the pocket and being able to escape pressure better."
Does Selvig have a dram school?
"I would say that Indiana would be my dream school. I went to a game last fall at Indiana and it was just a great school and also a great atmosphere."
