Park Ridge(Ill.) Maine South junior running back prospect Fotis Kokosioulis (5-foot-9, 165 pounds) has been one of the state's most exciting backs to watch. Get to know this latest name to watch in the growing Class of 2018 here.

"We are 2-2 so far this season," Kokosioulis said. "We play Niles North this week and we start conference play this week so everyone is working hard and is also focused."

Kokosioulis, who has been a varsity starter for the Hawks since his sophomore year has started to draw recruiting interest from a handful of colleges.

"I've been in touch with a few schools like Indiana State, Toledo, Columbia and also some smaller level schools have been sending me mail. I would say that my dream school would be Northwestern. Northwestern offers a great education plus it's close to home and they play in the Big Ten conference."

Kokosioulis, who also plays lacrosee and runs track at Maine South talked about his strengths on the field.

"I try to be a versatile running back and I can play on every down. I'm also getting better at making people miss and I trust my speed. I can also get the tough yards and I can run through tackles when I need to run through them."

Does Kokosioulis have a player that he admires?

"I've always liked Adrian Peterson. He's a great running back and he can really do it all at the position."
