Watch List: RB Ryan Young
Wheaton Warrenville (IL) South junior running back prospect Ryan Young (5-foot-11, 185 pounds) had a very strong 2016 junior season for the Tigers and head coach Ron Muhitch. Get to know this latest name to watch in the Class of 2018 here.
"I've been just making some college visits, working out and also training with HeroH," Young said. "I visited Columbia last week and I;ve also been to both Western Michigan and Eastern Michigan for visits so far."
Young filled us in on his latest visit to Columbia..
"Columbia was great. I loved the facilities and the coaches at Columbia. Columbia just has a great overall atmosphere and they really want me to become a part of the team. New York City was also very cool and overall it was just a great visit. I also had good visits to both Western Michigan and Eastern Michigan. The Eastern Michigan coaches really liked me but that they aren;t sure yet where they are going with this class at running back since they already have a few on the roster."
Young, who is also a strong student in the class room talked about his strengths on the field and more.
"I feel that I have pretty good vision and that overall I'm pretty athletic. I've been working hard on improving my blocking skills along with adding more strength this off season."
Does Young have a dream school?
"My dream school would be Northwestern. I've been a big fan of Northwestern over the past 3-4 years. They just offer a great education and it's also a great football program.
