What's next for OL Christopher?

You'll be hard pressed to fins another player in the Class of 2018 who camped harder this summer than North Mac senior offensive tackle recruit Will Christopher (6-foot-5, 280 pounds). Christopher discusses what's next in his recruiting process and more here.

"It feels really good to just go out and focus on my team and focus on the real season," Christopher said after his team's first practice on Monday. "Our first practice went well and again it just felt good to work on football."

Christopher also recapped his latest recruiting news.

"I have five offers so far from Eastern Illinois, Southeast Missouri State, Colgate, Missouri Western and Indiana State. I've been staying in touch with the coaches from all of those schools along with the coaches from UT Martin, Northwest Missouri State and Illinois. A lot of those schools want me to come out for a game this season. I'm looking at getting out to games at SEMO, Eastern Illinois and Indiana State and maybe Northwest Missouri State."

Does Christopher have a time frame for making his college decision?

"I'm planning to get some of my senior year tape out there for now. I'll send out my first three weeks of video from the season and see what kind of feedback I get from the college coaches before I make any decision."

Christopher is also excited about his upcoming senior season.

"We might be considered underdogs this year because we graduated I think 19 seniors from last year's team. We have a lot of new faces but we do bring back three starters on the offensive line and another on defense. Everyone has been working really hard since last December and everyone has been focused on the weight room and working hard in the off-season."

Will Christopher has scholarship offers from Eastern Illinois, Indiana State, SEMO, Colgate and Missouri Western.
