Wilbon last week has narrowed his list of favorites down to a Top 5 with the Commodores at the top of that listing. Wilbon made an unofficial visit to the Nashville based campus this weekend and gave head coach James Franklin his commitment.
So what type of player are the Commodores getting according to his coach in Mikale Wilbon?
"Mikale is a hard worker and a tremendous leader in the class room, the weight room and on the field. He's not satisfied with the great talent he has and understands that he can always improve so he sets the bar high everyday. Mikale is looking forward to making up for lost time in his senior year."
Wilbon last weekend told Rivals.com what stood out for him about Vanderbilt.
"Coach (James) Franklin is doing some big things at Vanderbilt. I like how he coaches and he's a great motivator. When I visited it was nice and I liked everything there. I just really like Vanderbilt."
