Witt talked about why he gave the NC State Wolfpack his verbal commitment.
"I've had a relationship with my recruiting coach (Mike Uremovich) at NC State since my freshman year in high school. He told me last year that if I added a bit more size and strength that NC State would offer me and he's was true to his word. The visit to NC State this past weekend really sold me on them. The whole comfort level I have the with all of the coaches at NC State is a big reason for my decision. I was able to stay with some of the players and I fit in well with the team. Overall I'm just very excited to commit to NC State and so is my family."
Witt was blown away at what North Carolina State has to offer on and off the field.
"NC State is just a great fit. They offer everything you would want in a top football program. The facilities and the stadium is top notch and I love the campus. Academically NC State also has a lot to offer and again it's just a great fit for me. My family agrees and I'm just excited about my decision."
So which other schools did Witt give careful consideration towards before making his decision?
"I looked at a lot of schools but to be honest it was always NC State for me from the beginning. The loyalty I was shown from Coach Uremovich and everyone at NC State was important to me. I can just go and help my team win a state title this year and not worry about recruiting."
Justin Witt is verbally committed to NC State.
