WR Jackson pledges to Toledo

Chicago (Ill.) Simeon junior three star ranked wide receiver recruit Jayshon Jackson (5-foot-11, 160 pounds) late last night decided to end his recruiting process and gave Toledo his verbal commitment.

"I committed to Toledo," Jackson said. "Toledo is just the best choice for me."

Jackson explained why he gave the Toledo Rockets his verbal commitment.

"The offense they run fits me perfectly. I have a strong connection with most of the coaches at Toledo. I also feel comfortable on the campus. I also wanted to make sure that I had a spot with Toledo because I know that they are starting to fill up fast so I committed."

So what position did Toledo offer Jackson?

"Toledo offered me as a receiver and they see me playing more of a slot for them."

Jackson is also happy to have his college decision completed.

"I'm happy to have a decision made. It takes the stress away so I can focus on school, my team. I can just work on adding more size and getting ready for my season."
