WR Rutherford checks in

Chicago (Ill.) Lindblom senior to be wide receiver recruit CJ Rutherford (6-foot-0, 170 pounds) is in the process of wrapping up his junior year of school while also trying to get out to as many college camps as possible. Rutherford checks in and recaps his latest recruiting news here.

"We don't finish the school year until June 21st," Rutherford said. "So I've been trying to get out to as many camps as I can but it's really hard with our school schedule."

Rutherford who's latest offer comes from North Dakota State was able to take part in a recent North Central College satellite camp.

"I went to North Central College for a camp and it went pretty well. I was able to get good feedback from some of the college coaches. They all say that I'm near the top of their recruiting board and they all want me to come and camp with them on their campus this summer."

Rutherford has also stayed in contact with several college coaches this summer.

"I've been in touch with the coaches from Ball State, Toledo, Columbia, Illinois State, Fordham, Harvard and Georgetown plus Northern Iowa. Illinois State seems to be really interested in me these days and they saw me at the NCC camp."

Has Rutherford set up any upcoming summer camp plans?

"I'm going to the Elmhust College satellite camp on Tuesday night."

CJ Rutherford has scholarship offers from North Dakota State, Indiana State, Fordham and McKendree (D2) .
