WR Stewart checks in
Bolingbrook (Ill.) junior wide receiver recruit I'Shawn Stewart (5-foot-11, 165 pounds) was able to add his latest scholarship offer from Miami of Ohio. Stewart checks in and discusses his latest offer from the Redhawks and much more in this latest recruiting update.
"Miami (of Ohio) is my latest offer," Stewart said. "I visited Miami for a visit a few weeks ago and they offered me on that visit. My recruiting has been going well and I'm in touch with several schools."
Stewart discussed his impressions from his recent visit and offer from Miami of Ohio.
"It was really nice at Miami. They have a really nice looking campus and I also liked the new indoor facility. They also offer great academics and that really caught my attention when I made my visit. They really stress academics and overall it was a really good visit. It was also great to come away with an offer from Miami."
Does Stewart have any upcoming college visits?
"I'm not looking at taking any visits for awhile. I'm playing 7on7 for Boom and we have a bunch of tournaments coming up starting this weekend in Nashville. I'm sure once we get into spring I'll get out to see more schools soon. "
Does Stewart have any early favorite schools?
"I like both Illinois and Iowa. I visited Iowa a handful of times now and I'm getting to know Illinois better and better. I know a lot of the kids in Illinois 2017 recruiting class already. I also really liked Miami of Ohio after my visit. I'm still really wide open. I'm in no rush to decide anything. I'm looking at hopefully making a college decision over the summer. "
