Top Impact Player for Wheaton North in 2017? Senior TE Tyler Johnson (6-foot-2, 230 pounds). Johnson is one of a handful of seniors who will be asked to provide leadership on and off the field this fall for the Falcons.
Biggest Concern heading into 2017? Can the Falcons reload at a few key spots this season including quarterback and on the offensive line?
EDGYTIM's Way Too Early Take on the 2017 Wheaton North Falcons?
Wheaton North came within a few points of making the IHSA state playoff field in 2016. Look for the Falcons to rely on it's defense to help carry a less experienced offense especially early this season. The schedule maker also did the Falcons no favors this season opening up at rival Wheaton South, at Joliet Catholic and at Naperville North to start the season. The key this season for the Falcons is to pull out an early win or two in that rough patch, do that and North has a great chance at being a state playoff contender.
EDGYTIM's Way Too Early regular season record prediction for the Wheaton North Falcons? 4-5
