LB Moore pledges to Wyoming
Oak Park (Ill.) River Forest senior inside linebacker recruit
Jahmari Moore (6-foot-3, 220 pounds) made an official visit to Wyoming and gave the Cowboys his verbal commitment. Moore talks about his decision here.
"I committed to Wyoming," Moore said. "I had a great official visit and I talked it over with my parents and they agree that Wyoming is a great place so I committed."
Moore talked about why he pledged to the Wyoming Cowboys.
"I just really enjoyed my official visit and seeing everything that Wyoming has to offer. I've never been to that part of the country and it's just beautiful. I was really impressed with the campus, the facilities and the academic side as well. I got along really well with the other recruits and the players already on the team and that was another big factor in my decision. I felt very comfortable with the team and the coaches on my visit and I felt like I was already on the team."
Moore, who also had his parents along on his official visit also was glad to have his parents input in his final decision..
"We talked about a lot of different things we saw and liked on the visit and they really helped me and they saw some things I didn't notice. We talked about the distance from home. I won't be able to just hop in a car and drive home any weekend, but I honestly will be pretty busy. I'll need to stay away from home most of the time no matter where I go to school and my parents agreed. They are on board with my decisoon and they are also really excited for me."
Moore was considering setting up a few more visits but is now a solid commitment to the Wyoming Cowboys.
"Before this weekend I was considering taking a few more official visits but that's all done now. I'm a solid commitment to Wyoming."
Jahmari Moore is verbally committed to Wyoming.
