LB Wright II looks towards summer

Homewood (Ill.) Flossmoor junior inside linebacker recruit Mario Wright II (6-foot-2, 215 pounds) has continued to draw a steady flow of college coaches into his school this spring. Wright II is starting to look ahead towards this summer and beyond and talks about what's next here.

"It (recruiting) seems to be starting to slow down just a bit," Wright II said. "It just seems like the schools who have offered me are staying in touch and the other schools still in touch who haven't offered me all want me to come and camp with them this summer."

Wright II recapped his latest recruiting news.

"This week Western Kentucky was in school along with Wyoming. Miami of Ohio is planning to be in school on Thursday along with a few other schools. Iowa seems to be picking things back up with me. I talked with them and they said they will be in school soon."

Wright II has is starting to look towards a busy summer loaded with college one day camps and visits.

"I'm looking at camping this summer at a few places and I also want to make some visits. I definitely want to camp at Illinois, Minnesota and also I'm looking at getting out to Iowa State for a camp. I'm also looking at visiting Western Kentucky, Syracuse and Cincinnati this summer."

Does Wright II have a time frame for making an eventual college choice?

"The earliest I could commit would be late in the camp season this summer and the latest it could be is towards the end of the regular season. I just want to sort out all of my options and also get oput and see more schools in person."

Mario Wright II has multiple scholarship offers.
