OT Keegan adds two Big 10 offers
Crystal Lake (IL) South sophomore offensive tackle recruit Trevor Keegan (6-foot-6, 290 pounds) was able to add offers from both Indiana and Purdue on Tuesday. Keegan, who also took part in last Sunday's Under Armour camp in Northbrook recaps his latest recruiting news here.
"Both Indiana and Purdue offered me today," Keegan said. "I visited both schools back when I was a freshman when both schools had different staffs in place at the time."
Keegan had a feeling at least one of the Big Ten schools would offer him this spring.
"Indiana was in school on Monday morning so I had a feeling they liked what they saw from me. The offer from Purdue was a real surprise. I hadn't heard much from Purdue until now. It's great to get offers from both schools."
Keegan has also seen several schools in school so far this spring.
"So far this week we've seen coaches from Iowa, Penn State and Purdue today (Tuesday). On Monday we saw Wisconsin and Indiana and last week we had Vanderbilt in school."
Keegan also recapped his Sunday Under Armour camp performance.
"The competition level at the UA Camp was very good. I didn't get a ton of reps because it seems like every offensive linemen at the camp was a left tackle. The gear we received from Under Armour was awesome and overall it was a good camp experience."
Does Keegan have any summer camp plans set just yet?
"I have no idea yet to be honest. I'm just going to see how things go with spring recruiting before I even think about setting up any one day camps."
Trevor Keegan has scholarship offers from Northwestern, Minnesota, Indiana and Purdue.
