Did You Know That...Geneva missed the IHSA state playoffs last year for the first time since 2003?

Top Impact Player for Geneva in 2017? Senior WR Jacob Temple (6-foot-4, 180 pounds) is a big kid with very impressive hands and ball skills. Temple is just one of two returning starters on offense for the Vikings this fall and will be asked to provide senior leadership to a very young roster.

Biggest Concern heading into 2017? Can the Vikings reload? Geneva always seems to find a way to reload and compete over the years under head coach Rob Wicinski. Yet this will be a team to watch closely especially early in 2017 with three tough games to start the 2017 season.

EDGYTIM's Way Too Early Take on the 2017 Geneva Vikings?

Again Geneva will need to reload this season and the early part of the schedule does them no favors. However, Geneva always has talent and also a good lower levels that will be asked to step in. If the Vikings can survive the first 3 weeks or so of the schedule they have a chance to make a run towards a state playoff spot.

EDGYTIM's Way Too Early regular season record prediction for the Geneva Vikings? 4-5
