Did you know...that York's best IHSA state playoff finishes in school history came in the state semifinals round? York lost in the semifinals in 1995 and 2006.

Top Impact Player for York in 2016? The Dukes have an experienced and good sized offensive line back this fall. Senior OT Chuck Walsh (6-foot-7, 300 pounds) is a definite name to watch this fall and is a name that will draw more recruiting looks this season.

Biggest Concern heading into 2016? Can the Dukes reload on defense? In one of the state's top overall conferences, being able to reload in a hurry is an absolute key.

EDGYTIM's Way Too Early Take on the 2016 York Dukes? Anyone who has spent time watching head coach Matt Monken work while an assistant at Bolingbrook before taking the Dukes job a year ago already knew that Monken can coach. I was happy to see the Dukes have some success in 2015 and that same success could happen again this season. However the Silver is so loaded year in and year out that cracking the top tier of the conference is a major challenge.
