Gurnee (Ill.) Warren Township sophomore defensive linemen prospect Willis Singleton Jr. (6-foot-2, 285 pounds) has been impressive this winter and spring at various camps and showcase events, Get to know this latest name to watch in the rising Class of 2020 here.

"Recruiting has been going pretty well," Singleton Jr. said. "We've been seeing a lot of different college coaches in school over the past few weeks. I've also been starting to look at my summer camp plans."

Singleton Jr., who played on both sides of the football last season for Warren Township ran down his growing list of recent in school visitors.

"I know that Boston College has been here along with Purdue, Michigan State, Western Michigan and a few other schools have ben in so far. This summer I'm looking at going to the Lindenwood Mega Camp along with Illinois, the North Central College camp plus Purdue and Michigan State."

So what has Singleton Jr. been focused on improving this off season?

"I've been definitely focused on improving and using my hands better and just improving my overall defensive linemen technique. I've also been working on improving my hand fighting. I also needed to learn how to play against bigger people, and that was something I really didn't need to do until last season. I just think that I'll be so much better this coming season because of my experiences from last year."

Does Singleton Jr. have a dream school?

"Mt dream school would be either Florida State or Michigan. Michigan offers strong academics and also a strong tradition. I have a lot of family in Florida and I have a cousin who goes to Florida State. Florida State has also been a historically strong football program."

Singleton Jr. is also excited for his upcoming 2018 junior season.

"We should be very good this coming season and I think we can win it all. We played a lot of young guys last year and we bring back a lot of starters."
