Oswego (Ill.) East junior athlete recruit Justin Clark (6-foot-0, 185 pounds) has seen a serious boost and increase in his recruiting process this winter. Clark, who now is holding 6 scholarship offers recaps his latest recruiting news here.
"Recruiting has been going pretty well," Clark said. "I have six offers now and I'm also staying in touch with several Big Ten schools."
Clark, who is running track this winter for the Wolves filled us in on his recent offers and suitors.
"I have offers now from NIU, Bowling Green, Miami of Ohio, Iowa State, Toledo and Ohio University. I've also been staying in touch with Minnesota, Northwestern, Iowa and also Purdue these days. Northwestern is waiting on my test score and they seem pretty interested. Iowa, Purdue and Minnesota all want me to come out and visit them on campus and the same goes for all the schools who have offered me."
Has Clark been able to make any recent college campus visits so far this winter?
"I visited Iowa State about 3 weeks ago and I had a really good visit. Iowa State offered me when I was on my visit. I really like the coaches at Iowa State including my recruiting coach (Alex) Golesh and also head coach Matt Campbell. Iowa State has a lot to offer and it was good to get out to visit them and see the school in person."
Clark is also hoping to get out to see a few more schools soon.
"Kentucky has been showing a lot of interest and they want me to come out and visit. Also Nebraska has picked things up lately and I'm also considering visiting them."
Clark, who played quarterback, running back, wide receiver, safety, cornerback as well as return kicks and punts along with punting for Oswego East in 2017 been discussing which position the colleges want him to play?
"So far the majority of schools are recruiting me to play safety. I'm very open when it comes to position and I also love to return kicks and punts. I just like to be as versatile of a player as I can for my team."
