Biggest Concern heading into 2016? Can the Golden Aces get over the hump and find 5 plus wins in 2016? 2015 was the first time since 2005 and was also only the third time that Mt. Carmel has missed the IHSA state football playoff field since 1979.

The Golden Aces have been a traditional 3A/4A sized power for several seasons and I don't expect this program to be down for very long. Veteran head coach Darren Peach always has this team prepared and I fully expect a state playoff appearance this fall.
