Did you know...that head coach Andy Bitto has posted an overall record of 141-71 in 20 years as the Corsairs head coach?
Top Impact Player for Carmel in 2017? Senior RB/S Zaire Barnes (6-foot-3, 210 pounds) will be a rare three year starter and also a rare two-way starter in 2017 for Carmel. Barnes has added several FBS level scholarship offers this past off-season.
Biggest Concern heading into 2017? Can the Corsairs survive the schedule, especially early on in 2017? Carmel opens up hosting Class 6A power Oka Lawn Richards then travel to a very strong DeKalb program. The Corsairs then open up ESCC play with back to back games at Marist then hosting Nazareth Academy. Ouch.
EDGYTIM's Way Too Early Take on the 2017 Carmel Corsairs?
The Corsairs bring back a good core of returning starters in 2017 which is a real plus. Can Carmel as mentioned above survive a pretty rough first four weeks of the regular season? If Carmel can pull off a handful of early wins they will no question have a shot at getting back to the state playoff field in 2017.
EDGYTIM's Way Too Early regular season record prediction for the Carmel Corsairs? 5-4/4-5
