2016 results: 13-1 (4-1 Heart of Illinois Conference). The Chiefs won the Class 2A IHSA state football title in 2016. Deer-Creek Mackinaw defeated Orion, Hope Academy, Newman Central Catholic and Weathersfield-Annawan to get to the @A state title. The Chiefs then defeated Maroa Forsyth to win the 2A state title.
