Thiergood keeps bringing in offers

Woodstock (Ill) Marian Central Catholic junior defensive linemen recruit Jayden Thiergood (6-foot-3, 265 pounds) has continued to add scholarship offers and more recruiting looks and attention this spring. Thiergood recaps his recent run of scholarship offers and previews his upcoming summer camp plans and more here.

"My recruiting has been going really well lately," Thiergood said. "I've been able to add recent scholarship offers from EIU, WIU plus Holy Cross and Army I've also been in contact with the coaches from Air Force and they said they are having a staff meeting soon and that they will be calling me soon."

With drawing his latest offer from Army and added recruiting attention from both Air Force and Navy, has Thiergood ever before considering taking the service academy route?

"I really never considered going to any of the service academies before I started to be recruited by those schools ton be honest. Now that I've been in touch with those coaches I've been learning more and more about them and I'm definitely more interested in them. I definitely will look more into those schools ad learn more about the opportunities that they offer."

Thiergood is also getting his upcoming spring and summer camp plans in place.

"I'm going to the Rivals Three Stripe camp on Sunday and I'm really excited to go and compete. I'm also planning to camp at the Northwestern Showcase camp along with camping at Northwestern for a smaller one day camp. I'm also set to camp at Wisconsin and I'm also going to a North Central College camp when it features the coaches from Michigan State and Cincinnati."

Does Thiergood have a time frame in mind for making his college decision?

"For now I don't have a time frame in mind. I'm just taking my time for now and I want to camp this summer and then I'll look harder at everything after the camps.'
