Watch List: LB Nick D'Ambra
Glen Ellyn (Ill.) Glenbard South senior safety/outside linebacker recruit Nick D'Ambra (6-foot-0, 206 pounds) has been impressive at various college camps this summer and more schools have taken noticed. D'Ambra recaps his latest recruiting news and more here.
"I have three offers so far," D'Ambra said. "I have offers from Minnesota State, St. Anslem and Olivet Nazarene and I've been in touch with several coaches this summer at camps."
D'Ambra ran down his summer camp schedule so far this summer.
"I camped at Elmhurst College satellite camp and then I was at Western Illinois on Friday and both camps went pretty well. I'm heading to North Dakota State on June 24th and then South Dakota State on the 25th. I also plan to camp at Illinois State in July and I'm going to get up to Minnesota State for a visit."
D'Ambra has also seen increased recruiting looks this summer.
"I've stayed in touch with the coaches from Illinois State, Indiana State, South Dakota State and North Dakota State along with some smaller level colleges."
D'Ambra is also a versatile player who could wind up contributing at several position at the college level.
"Some schools like me as a strong safety or as an outside linebacker. I've also played some inside linebacker and defensive back along with playing some slot. I'm totally open when it comes to a position."
