Watch List: RB Leshon Williams

Oak Lawn (Ill.) Richards sophomore running back prospect Leshon Williams (5-foot-10, 195 pounds) had a very impressive 2017 sophomore year at the varsity level for the Bulldogs and head coach Tony Sheehan. Get to know this latest name to watch in the growing Class of 2020 here.

"This winter I've been working out and also playing 7on7 with EFT," Williams said. "I also played Hoops on the sophomore team and we just finished the season. I'll take a few days off and then get ready for track season."

Njongmeta, who is a solid student in the classroom has also begun to draw recruiting attention this winter.

"I've been able to talk a little bit to some of the coaches from Minnesota, Ball State, NIU, Michigan State and also South Dakota. Most of the college coaches have said that they like my size and speed and that they would be back in the spring to watch me workout."

Williams also discussed what he's been working on this off season and more. .

"I really want to be more explosive. I'm also working hard on improving my route running and I just want to be better at everything in my game. I feel a few of my strengths are that I read the hole pretty well and that I also have good cutting ability. I also feel that I have good breakaway speed and that I'm also a hard runner. But I'm also never satisfied and I'm always working harder to just get better."

Does Williams have a dream school?

"My dream school would be Georgia. I just always liked the running backs that come out of Georgia and they always seem to have a really strong game."
