A quick three for Piche

Naperville (Ill.) Neuqua Valley junior athlete recruit Owen Piche (6-foot-3, 195 pounds) added his first two scholarship offers on Wednesday. Piche talks about adding his latest offers from Cincinnati and Bowling Green here.

"It's pretty exciting to get my first offer from Cincinnati and then another one right after from Bowling Green," Piche said. "It's just a good feeling to finally get that first offer and hopefully this is the start of more to come."

Piche talked about adding his first offer from the Cincinnati Bearcats.

"My head coach (Bill Ellinghaus) called me and said that the coaches from Cincinnati wanted me to call them so I was hoping they would offer. I called back the coaches at Cincinnati and they offered me. Cincinnati is offering me as an athlete. They feel that I can end up playing at a few different spots at the college level. They said they could see me as a receiver, tight end, safety of even at linebacker and they just want to see where I'm at physically in a year or so to see where I can end up playing in college."

So which position does Piche prefer to play?

"I've been playing receiver and some safety for my school but I'm pretty open when it comes to a position in college. I'll play anywhere to be honest. I just like being as versatile as I can."

Piche will begin a busy winter and spring making several visits.

"This weekend I'm heading out to Las Vegas for the Pylon 7on7 with Boom. I'm also planning to visit Cincinnati on March 12th. I also want to get out and visit Western Michigan, Illinois State, Ball State, Bowling Green and NIU. I'll try to spread all of these visits out over the next few months."
