133 OL JJ Guedet Washington- Guedet was a bit of a mystery this fall but I was able to see him last summer at an ISU one day camp. Guedet has a Power 5 size, length and reach and showed well on Monday. Also did well on one on ones and will do nothing but get better from here on out. Guedet could really see his recruiting stock take off this winter.

138 DE Steven Hawthorne DeLaSalle- incredibly quick twitch kid who has a ton of length and also a ton of upside down the road. Looks more like an OLB at this stage but I feel Hawthorne will eventually add more weight and size and become a rush defensive end. Worked in both sessions (DE then as a TE/LB) and was just a very strong athlete and overall has a chance to become a Power 5 level athlete.

58- DL Isaiah Coe Homewood-Flossmoor- Coe took part in both the Boom Showcase along with this event on Monday. Coe has good size and length, uses his hands well and also has some pass rushing moves and ability. Coe was very solid in 2017 for the Vikings and will draw offers this spring/summer if not sooner.

60 DL James Coffee DeLaSalle- Really didn't know much about James Coffee coming in to be honest but he was impressive here. Big kid with good strength/length and quickness who also stood out in one on ones. Exceptional lower body strength as well.

155 OL Devin Hunt East St Louis- Hunt had a great showing here and is more of a OC/OG type who has really good quickness and power. Uses his hands well and is just a locked on blocker who has very good leverage.

344- K Nate Van Zelst Loyola Academy- just a sophomore went 10/15 FG with a long of 53 yards. Tied for first in accuracy overall and 1st in long distance. Big time potential here according to our kicking coach Nick Iovinelli.

5 Long Snapper Mark Alvarado Highland Ind.- Alvarado was one of the top overall long snappers at this event per coach Scott Daly (DGS/ND) .

177 OL Matt Keeler Nazareth Academy- Keeler was one of several Nazareth Academy kids who had a good day. Keeler was impressive and he just seems to get better each time I see him. Keeler has gotten a bit stronger/leaner and is just much improved in one on ones. Very good sized kid here who will play OT at the college level.

199 OL Trey Leroux Monroeville- another strong kid from Ohio here. Good size/power and balance who won several of his one on ones on Monday. Definite OT size and ability for the higher college level.

226 OL Marcelo Mendiola Mount Carmel- Another kid I didn't know a ton about but Marcelo really showed well all day. Very good sized kid with a ton of strength and good punch and power. Also showed well in one on ones...has good overall quickness and moves well laterally.

231 DE Rylie Mills Lake Forest- Mills is a younger kid who has a chance to become a big time name in the the growing Class of 2020 both locally and nationally. Mills possesses great size. length and is also an exceptionally strong kid with a ton of quickness. Mills already has a D1 level body and frame and came away as one of the top overall names here on Monday.

263 DL Zach Pelland Warren Township- Warren Township has several underclassmen to watch and Pelland was great all day on Monday. Pelland checks in around 6-foot-4/6-foot-5 250 pounds plus and has DE speed and quickness. Pelland is also a kid who can easily play DT if asked. Physically an eye ball passer no question and a big time name to watch here.

328 OL Logan Swartz Rock Island- Swartz is another good sized kid with an OT frame and length. Moved well for his size has decent bend and also fared well in one on ones. Swartz was actually more impressed on the hoof and live here than what I saw on his junior season video.

333 DT Desmond Taylor East St Louis- has been a starter for the Flyers over the past few years. Sort of a tweener positionally (DE/DT) but I like him a lot in these settings. My guess is Taylor will wind up as a DT, has really good quickness and strength.
