Oswego (Ill.) East junior 3 star ranked athlete recruit Justin Clark (6-foot-0, 185 pounds) was able to add his 10th scholarship offer earlier this week from Western Michigan. . Clark, who has also been busy with track this spring takes a few minutes to update us on his latest recruiting news here.
"Western Michigan just offered me," Clark said. "We've also seen a lot of college coaches in school over the last few weeks and it's pretty pretty busy and exciting."
Clark filled us in on his thought of adding his latest offer from Western Michigan.
"The offer wasn't a big surprise to be honest. I have been in contact with the WMU coaches for a few months now. I was able to work out for the WMU coaches and I guess they wanted to just see me run and move around a bit. After the workout they decided to offer me and it went well overall. The WMU coaches said it my offer was one of the last offers they have left so it feels good to pick up that one."
Clark has also drawn recruiting attention from several Big Ten schools this spring.
"Northwestern, Iowa, Michigan State and Wisconsin have all been in school and I stay in touch with those coaches pretty regularly now. They all want me to camp with them this summer and I'm planning to spend most of my summer camps at the Big Ten schools. I'm planning to camp at Michigan State, Iowa and Wisconsin."
Clark is also coming off a strong recent performance at The Opening camp in Columbus.
"I went to The Opening camp in Columbus and I posted some really strong testing times. I enjoyed that camp and it was just fun to compete against some great players. My test results no question opened up some eyes and my recruiting definitely picked up after that camp."
Does Clark have a time frame for making his college decision?
"Once the camps are finished I'll start looking harder at all of my offers and options. The only schools that I might go visit now is Western Michigan since they offered me and I haven't seen the school in person just yet."
