ATH Coleman is ready for summer

Oswego (Ill.) junior athlete prospect Charles Coleman (6-foot-3, 220 pounds) has been gearing up for what is shaping up to be a busy late spring and summer for Coleman. Coleman updates his latest recruiting news here.

"It's been a busy spring at school," Coleman said. "We have been seeing a lot of college coaches at school watching some of our open gyms. I'm also just working hard and getting ready for the season and I can't believe we report to practice in a few weeks. It's exciting."

Coleman filled us in on his latest spring recruiting news.

"Eastern Illinois has bene pretty interested lately. EIU is recruiting me as a running back and that they want to stay in touch and said they would be calling me soon. Wyoming has also been in touch and they also made an in school visit and said they want to see me at a camp this summer. Coach (Nate) Sheelhaase from Iowa State was also in school and so has some of the coaches from Missouri. I still have an offer from North Dakota and I stay in touch with them."

Coleman also knows that this summer will determine quite a bit in regards to his overall recruiting stock.

"A lot of college coaches like me but they still aren't totally sure where I will play in college and they all want me to camp this summer. Some schools like me as a big back, others seem to like me as more of a defensive end Most of the coaches just want to get a chance to work with me and see me run around and workout this summer in camps."

So where will Coleman camp this summer?

"I'm going to the Lindenwood amp on June 1st and I'm also going to the North Central College camp on June 7th with Missouri. I already visited North Dakota for a Junior Day but they also have a camp on June 21st. I still might camp at North Dakota and spend more time seeing the area this summer."

Charles Coleman has a scholarship offer from North Dakota.
