New partnership to also include weekly appearances on Comcast SportsNet's preps news & highlights show, "High School Lites," beginning August 30, along with regular appearances on "SportsNet Central" and "SportsTalk Live"

Chicago, IL (July 16, 2013) - Comcast SportsNet, the television home for the most games and the most comprehensive coverage of the Chicago Blackhawks, Bulls, Cubs and White Sox, has formed an exclusive content partnership agreement with veteran Illinois high school football sports writer/recruiting authority "Edgy Tim" O'Halloran to be its new local preps football expert effective August 1.

Known as one of the nation's top preps sports writers whose work is showcased on Rivals.com from Yahoo! Sports via EdgyTim.com, "Edgy Tim" (@EDGYTIM), will provide multiple, exclusive, written feature stories each week for CSNChicago.com focusing on Chicago-area high school football players, coaches, team profiles, recruiting news/notes, game previews/recaps, general interest articles, player rankings, along with his popular, weekly Top 20 team "Power Rankings." Plus, Comcast SportsNet and "Edgy Tim" will co-create original videos, including a new, weekly, digital show that will appear on EdgyTim.com, CSNChicago.com and all mobile devices.

In addition, "Edgy Tim" will also make weekly appearances on Comcast SportsNet's Friday night preps news & highlights show, High School Lites, beginning with the season premiere on Friday, August 30 at 11:00 PM CT, along with regular appearances throughout the season on two of the network's signature shows, SportsNet Central and SportsTalk Live.
