First two offers for DT Aguirre

Joliet (Ill.) Catholic Academy junior defensive tackle recruit Ken Aguirre (6-foot-2, 280 pounds) added his first two scholarship offers on Wednesday night from Ball State and Buffalo. Aguirre talks about his first two offers here.
"I was offered a scholarship tonight by Buffalo and Ball State," Aguirre said. "They both sort of came out of nowhere to be honest. It's just very exciting to add my first two scholarship offers."

Aguirre talked about his early impressions of both Buffalo and Ball State.
"I had Twitter messages from the coaches at both schools. I decided to call them back and had a good talk with both coaches. We talked for a bit and then they said they wanted to offer me a scholarship. I honestly don't know much about either school. Both Buffalo and Ball State said they liked my junior tape and they want me to come visit soon. I'm going to try to visit both schools soon. Ball State is a lot closer to home than Buffalo so I'll go visit Ball State first. I'll research more now on each school."
Yet another Mid American Conference school also reached out to Aguirre on Wednesday.
"One of the coaches from Bowling Green State also send me a direct message tonight. He said that they are excited about me and will be evaluating my video as a staff once they get back from spring break next week. They also wanted me to stay in touch and they also want me to come visit them soon."
Aguirre and his family are very excited about his run of offers on Wednesday night.
"It's pretty crazy to get my first two offers in one night. My family is also really excited and I'm feeling just blessed. You always hope to get that first offer and it feels good, real good. I just want to keep working harder and go out and prove that I'm worth those offers."
