"Everyone on our team is so ready for this (state playoffs). We came out to practice today on fire. Everyone has been working harder now than ever. Today in practice the while atmosphere was different. We know that we need to be playing at our best over the next five weeks and everyone is just really focused. We start the playoffs on Friday against Lake Park and they are no joke. We've watched some film on Lake Park and they are legit. Everyone will be hyped and ready to beat us and we meed to be ready and work even harder every day. I love this time of the year."

Hall admits that he's given more than a few thoughts towards finishing off his high school career on the same field he plans to start his college career at NIU Huskie Stadium.

"Jeff (Griffin) and I have talked a little bit about finishing our high school career at NIU. It would be pretty amazing to go back with my team and play on that field for a state title."

Hall is also still very committed to NIU.

"I'm still committed to NIU. I've been up for a few games this year including a few weeks ago when they played Kent State. I still get a few calls and mail from a handful of schools but they all know I'm committed. Schools are calling but I'm not really listening."

Justin Hall is verbally committed to Northern Illinois University.
