Kirkendoll is looking at visits

Chicago (Ill) Simeon (5-0) senior two star ranked defensive back recruit Marquae Kirkendoll (6-foot-2, 171 pounds) hand the Wolverines are off to a strong start this season. Kirkendoll also has been keeping tabs on his latest recruiting news and checks in and fills us in on his recruiting and more here.

"We are definitely making some noise this year," Kirkendoll said. "Everyone is just playing hard and getting after it and it's been a fun season so far."

Kirkendoll also filled us in on his latest recruiting news.

"I've been talking with a handful of schools and I'm looking at setting up some official visits soon. I'm in touch with Kentucky, Missouri, New Mexico and Rice and those four schools have shown the most interest and some other schools like Cincinnati have checked in once in awhile. All of those schools want me to come out and see a game this season."

Kirkendoll is also starting to look harder at his options this fall.

"I'm looking at making some moves soon. I'm talking with New Mexico about taking an official visit now and I'm thinking about taking a few official visits before I make a decision."

Kirkendoll discussed how his overall game has changed this season compared to last year.

"I'm really comfortable now and I'm starting to go for more picks. I've been attacking the football a lot more this year and just trying to make as many plays as I can. Teams haven't been throwing it my way too much but when they do I'm getting after it. I've been playing mainly corner this season but I've also played some safety as well."
