Alexander, who plays linebacker and receiver for Hoffman Estates and head coach Tim Heyse recapped his latest scholarship offers and suitors this spring.

"I have offers so far from NIU, Western Kentucky, Illinois State, Eastern Michigan, Western Illinois, Central Michigan and Bowling Green. I've been in touch quite a bit with Wyoming, South Dakota and North Dakota and those schools seem like they could be pretty close to offering."

Alexander and his Hawks teammates have also seen a steady flow of college coaches in school so far this spring.

"We've been seeing a lot of college coaches. Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Central Michigan, NIU, Illinois, Western Kentucky and a few others have all been in so far. Most of the coaches come and watch our team workouts. Michigan State has also invited me to come and camp with them this summer."

Does Alexander have any summer camp plans set so far?

"I'm planning to go to the North Central College camp with Minnesota and then the following day when Iowa State is at NCC. I'm also going to the Northwestern showcase camp and also NIU for a one day camp."
