LB Telez recaps IU visit

New Lenox (Ill.) Lincoln-Way West senior outside linebacker prospect Trey Telez (6-foot-1, 223 pounds) has been focused on his senior season while also getting out to visit schools this fall. Telez recaps his latest football recruiting news here.

"We finally got a win on Friday," Telez said. "We were in a rut and it feels good to get out of that and get back on the right track. Hopefully we can get a bigger win this week then make a run in the state playoffs."

Telez talked about his latest recruiting news.

"My recruiting has been going good. I went to Indiana for a visit on Saturday and it was awesome. The overall atmosphere at Indiana was great. The fans and the team was so hyped form the pregame until the end of the game. The whole stadium was going nuts. The coaches at Indiana have just reached out to me recently and I'm excited to start to get to know them better."

Does Telez plan on making any other upcoming visits?

"Besides Indiana I'm also looking at getting out to make visits to both North Dakota State and Wyoming. The coaches from both schools have been in touch on a weekly basis."

Telez is also hoping to land a scholarship offer soon.

"North Dakota State has been saying that they think I'm close to becoming a scholarship guy for them and they said to be patient. Wyoming wants me to come out for a visit and they are also interested in me as a scholarship player."

Trey Telez has scholarship offers from Miami of Ohio, Toledo and Western Michigan.
