OL Hallstrom has summer plans

Naperville (Ill.) Central junior offensive guard prospect Luke Hallstrom (6-foot-3, 280 pounds) and his Redhawks teammates have seen plenty of recruiting attention and traffic in school this spring. Hallstrom checks in and recaps his latest recruiting news here.

"It's been really busy in school lately," Hallstrom said. "We've seen a lot of college coaches so far and it's been pretty exciting to see which schools will come in next."

Hallstrom filled us in on which college coaches have made it's way to Naperville Central so far this spring.

"So far we've seen the coaches from Syracuse, Western Michigan, Western Illinois, University of Indianapolis (D2), North Dakota State plus several MAC schools and just a lot more that I can't remember. Most of the coaches have said that they like me and that they want to see me in a camp this summer."

Hallstrom has also drawn increased attention from North Dakota State.

"Coach (Joe) Klanderman has been in school already and he really likes my game and my junior tape. North Dakota State asked me to stay in touch with them and to come out and camp with them this summer."

Hallstrom has also started to finalize his summer college camp plans.

"I'm looking hard at camping at North Dakota State plus I'm going to two of the North Central College camps. SIU is another school that I'll end up camping with this summer along with possibly Syracuse, Western Michigan and Iowa State."
