Starting on Friday, Prepchannel.com will hit the web.

Prepchannel.com will be an exclusive broadband website serving Chicagoland high school sports.
The creators of PrepChannel.com, Adam Dew and Edward Seaton, along with EDGYTIM won a Midwest Emmy award in 2003 for their work on Preps Xtra, which aired on WBBM-TV in Chicago.
Tim O'Halloran aka EDGYTIM, publisher of EDGYTIM.com, will serve as an on air contributor and high school football expert for Prepchannel.com this fall.

NBC5 Chicago announced exclusive partnership with PrepChannel.com
Effective, August 26,2006, NBC5 Chicago will be airing high school sports highlights from PrepChannel.com on NBC5 News Saturdays at 9AM and on Sports Sunday. This partnership also includes PrepChannel.com to provide highlight content for NBC5.COM.
Coverage of highschool sports from football to baseball continue to grow with popularity. This partnership will enable NBC5 to provide viewers with highlights and footage they won't be able to get anywhere else.

In addition to the weekly packages, PrepChannel.com will also provide NBC5 with three half-hour season wrap-up shows. These specials will highlight the best of the fall, winter and spring sports seasons.
