2016 OPRF Huskies Summer/7on7 plans

NA

Did you know...that OPRF has made the IHSA state playoffs for four straight seasons (2012-2015) under head coach John Hoerster. The only other time is school history was back in 1984-1987 under then head coach Gary Olson.

Top Impact Player for OPRF in 2016? The Huskies had been on a serious roll in 2015, that is until then junior QB Jeremy Hunt suffered a late regular season injury and was lost for the season. Hunt returns this season and will be expected to pick things up right where he left off in 2015. Hunt has terrific size and tools and is drawing steady recruiting looks this spring.

Biggest Concern heading into 2016? The Huskies welcome back 10 returning starters and seem to be covered in some important spots. Yet OPRF will need to find answers in the offensive skills along with the defensive line and linebacker spots. OPRF will need to bring a relatively inexperienced group up to speed this fall. Also you never can have enough depth in the West Suburban Silver.

EDGYTIM's Way Too Early Take on the 2016 OPRF Huskies? OPRF has gone from also ran to year in and year out WSSilver power under John Hoerster and I fully expect another playoff caliber team in 2016. Now how good? That's the million dollar question in the preseason. If the offense can come of age in the skills department and the defense also comes out of the gates early, beware.

EDGYTIM's Way Too Early regular season record prediction for OPRF? 7-2/6-3
