QB Perez makes a new move

Former O'Fallon (Ill.) junior quarterback prospect Christian Perez (6-foot-2, 185 pounds) has indeed transferred from O'Fallon to East St. Louis. Perez talks about his transfer and more here.

"I have transferred to East St. Louis," Perez said. "We filled out the paperwork yesterday and my first full day of school at East St. Louis is today (Thursday) ."

Perez, who was a two year starter for O'Fallon explained why he made the surprise move to rival East St. Louis.

"My Dad moved back to East St. Louis. It's a chance to spend more time with my Dad. It's something that I'm really excited about. I have family already in the community and I'm just thankful and excited to start my first day at East St. Louis."

Perez also filled us in on his latest recruiting news.

"I've been staying in touch with basically all of the Big Ten schools. I visited Jackson State already and I also have a visit planned to Iowa on March 5th. Central Michigan and Toledo also have been showing more interest."

Perez is also gearing up for a busy spring.

"I was invited to all three camps this spring so I'm planning to go to Nike, Under Armour and also the Rivals Camp."
