RB Coleman has upcoming visits

Oswego Ill. junior athlete prospect Charles Coleman (6-foot-3, 220 pounds) wrapped up a highly successful junior season this past weekend. Coleman checks in and talks about what's next for him including a few upcoming visits here.

"It was a tough loss to a very good team (Lincoln-Way East)," Coleman said. "I learned a lot this season and I'll miss playing with my team and the seniors."

Coleman also has a few upcoming college visits planned.

"I'm planning to visit Northern Illinois this Wednesday when they play Western Michigan. NIU has been pretty interested and it's a good chance to fit a game in since it's pretty close to home and on a Wednesday night. I'm also set to make a visit to Syracuse on November 25th when they play Boston College."

Coleman has also remained in touch with a handful of schools on a regular basis this late fall.

"Besides NIU and Syracuse I've been staying in touch with Iowa State, Purdue, Michigan State and a few smaller level schools. A lot of the schools wanted me to visit a game this season but it's been hard to get out lately because of the state playoffs."

Coleman also discussed his upcoming winter plans.

"I'm going to get back with my trainers and I'm going tom work with Acceleration. I want to add more speed and drop a few pounds. I was also invited to some combines and I'm planning to go to the US Army combine in Texas in January."

So what did Coleman learn after looking back at his junior season?

"I learned that I needed to see the field better and to make use of every inch and fight for every single yard. I feel like I was able to become a better runner and got more and more comfortable with the speed of the game."
