Roberts hops onboard

Aurora (Ill.) Christian senior safety/outside linebacker recruit Noah Roberts (6-foot-3, 200 pounds) made his college decision and joins an impressive Land of Lincoln recruiting class for the South Dakota Coyotes.
"I committed to South Dakota when I was on my official visit," Roberts said. "I really didn't know what to expect from South Dakota but after the visit I was really sold on them."

Roberts talked about why he decided to end his recruiting process and commit to the USD Coyotes.
"I really just liked the coaches and the players and I feel that South Dakota is just a great mix. My faith and religion is very important to me and I feel that the people around the football program have the same beliefs and values that I have and that was also an important factor. The campus and the facilities are awesome and I also love the town. It's a smaller town but they still have plenty of things to do."
Roberts also feels that the Coyotes program is on the rise and that was another factor in his decision.
"South Dakota has big plans for the football program. They are in the process of doing a multi-million dollar facility upgrade. The town and really the entire state backs the Coyotes football program. I was recruited to play either safety or outside linebacker."
Roberts is also thrilled to have his recruiting process completed.
"I'm glad it's over, really glad it's over. I can enjoy the rest of my senior year. I started to feel some pressure from people asking me what I was going to go to school. Now I can just relax a little and get ready for college ball."
Noah Roberts is verbally committed to South Dakota.
