TE Bjorson checks in from the road

Hinsdale (Ill) Central senior three star ranked tight end recruit Matt Bjorson (6-foot-3, 225 pounds) was one of several top names who took part in Wednesday's North Central College satellite camp. Bjorson recaps his recent and upcoming camp travels here.

"I was at Illinois on Saturday for a one day camp," Bjorson said. "I'm also heading to Indiana for a camp along with Michigan State this month."

Bjorson filled us in on his Illinois camp impressions from last Saturday.

"The Illinois camp was good. The coaches at Illinois said that they really like me and that they are considering me as an H Back recruit for them and that they like my versatility. I just have a good feeling that Illinois could be close to offering me and the coaches want me to remain in contact with them."

Bjorson, who begins his team camp on Monday also drew positive reviews on Wednesday night from the coaches at Missouri.

"Missouri had several coaches here (at the NCC satellite camp) and after the camp they invited me to an elite type of on campus camp on July 21st. The Missouri coaches said that I showed some good things tonight and that they are interested."

Is Bjorson any closer to making a college choice this summer?

"I'm just not in a big rush for now. I want to see how the camps go this summer and what type of feedback I get from some of the bigger level schools who are still recruiting me. I'd like to make a decision before the season but I'm also open to waiting to make a decision if I need to wait. I'm still pretty open and the only school that I would say is one of my leaders for now it's still Kentucky."

Matt Bjorson has multiple scholarship offers.
