Two more for ATH Christian

Chicago (Ill.) Hales Franciscan junior athlete recruit Dominic Christian (6-foot-1, 170 pounds) added recent offers from Nevada and Toledo. Christian talks about his latest offers here and could Christian be a package deal along with teammates Patrick Nelson at the next level?

"I added offers from both Toledo and Nevada," Christian said. "Toledo offered myself and Pat (Nelson) and so did Nevada. Toledo offered me sometime late last week and Nevada offered me tonight (Tuesday)."

Christian, who plays defensive back and quarterback for the Spartans talks about landing his latest offers from the Rockets and the Wolfpack.

"Toledo made an in school visit and they watched one of our track practices. I know that Toledo is a good program in the MAC (Mid American Conference), they are located in Ohio and that they play an uptempo style of offense which I like. I haven't had a chance to visit them just yet but I will keep doing my research on them and I'm planning to visit them this summer."

"Nevada made an in school visit today (Tuesday) and that's when they offered. I know that they play in the Mountain West and that they are the Wolfpack. Outside of that I still need to learn more about them. I'd love to go out and visit them sometime soon. I know they play near the mountains because I did some research and I'd love to just see the school and the area in person."

Christian has also been seeing a steady stream of college coaches in school so far this spring.

"Nevada, Syracuse, UConn, Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Indiana and Illinois have all been in school so far. They seem to come into school at different times. Some come in early and others will come into school and watch a practice or a workout."

So could Christian, who now has three shared offers with teammates Patrick Nelson in Toledo, Central Michigan and Nevada consider being a recruiting package deal?

"We talk about it a lot. We both share the same opinions on a lot of things. It's something that could happen but we also want to see each school for ourselves and make the best decision and best fit for ourselves. This summer we are going to just get in the car and go see as many schools as we can. I think once we get out and see some places it will give us a better idea on recruiting."

Dominic Christian has scholarship offered from Central Michigan, Toledo, Nevada and Illinois State.
