Watch List: DE Andrew Ezell

LaGrange Park (IL) Lyons Township junior defensive end prospect Andrew Ezell (6-foot-3, 255 pounds) had a very strong junior season and is no question a name to watch in the Land of Lincoln's Class of 2018.

"Once the football season ended I was already back working out and getting ready for wrestling season," Ezell said. "This is actually the first year that I'm wrestling. It's been pretty intense but really good and I just won my first match earlier this week."

Ezell, who played both defensive end and defensive tackle for the Lions and head coach Kurt Weinberg in 2016 filled us in on his recruiting news.

"Arkansas has been in touch with myself and Mickey (Brown) and outside of that I haven't heard too much just yet. My dream school would be Ole Miss. I have family in Mississippi and we go and visit them a lot. I also really like Michigan State as well but I'm just looking to play at the highest level in college as I can."

Ezell, who is a solid student in the class room discussed what he feels are his strengths and more.

"I'm always trying to push myself and my teammates as hard as I can. I try to be a good teammate and a leader. I get off the snap pretty well and my pass rush skills are a strength for me. I'm going to work hard on trying to track and find the football better this off-season."

So does Ezell prefer one spot on the defensive line over the other?

"I feel a bit more comfortable at defensive end but I'm will to play anywhere on the defensive line."
