WR Pierce has a plan

Glen Ellyn (Ill.) Glenbard West senior wide receiver recruit Alec Pierce (6-foot-3, 191 pounds) has been back at it with his team this summer and Pierce and the Hilltoppers prepare for the upcoming IHSA football season in just over two weeks. So what's new with Pierce and his recruiting process? Get all the news and details here.

"We've been looking good in practice so far," Pierce said. "It just feels good to be back with the team and to get going."

Pierce also has a plan when it comes to his recruiting process.

"I'm going to wait on making a decision. A lot of colleges want to see some of my early senior video so I'm going to allow those schools a chance to evaluate my early season tape. My dream has always been to play Power 5 level football. I already have some great opportunities now and I'm very happy with the offers and options I have. I still stay in touch with a lot of the schools who have offered me this summer and they all know my plans for now."

So which schools have requested to see Pierce's early senior tape?

"Illinois, Minnesota, Northwestern and Purdue. Iowa is another school that has been interested and I'll send my early video to those schools."

Will Pierce get out to visit any schools for college games this season?

"It's really hard for me to get out because we play all of our home games on Saturday. I have some road games where we will play on Friday nights, but I also have some team responsibilities on Saturday's. I might be able to get to a game if it's closer to home but I haven't even tried to figure it out yet."

Alec Pierce has multiple scholarship offers.
